Without our genoa it was time to break out the ´emergency’ storm sail. It’s a cool device, a tiny red sail that lives in a yellow bag and wraps round the forestay
We had a lot of questions on the pontoons about why we had it rigged – did we know something about the weather forecast that they didn’t!!, lol.
It actually sails very well.
On to Drejø the following day, where summer had returned and we explored the sleepy little island and had a swim. The bay was shallow so a raft was provided to pull yourself out.
But not necessarily to deeper water…
What a lovely spot to find on your homeward voyage, but glad you didn’t plunge headfirst into the shallows!

Today we have final women’s singles and final of Euro football. Yesterday was the Twelve in N Ireland.
