Down river

Saturday morning and we are filling up with water, plotting our route and making ready to leave Greifswald.

All the work was completed yesterday, pretty much on our schedule, amazingly, and thanks to the huge efforts by everyone from the yard, rigger, sailmaker, chandlery – Ollie, Ollie, Paul, Stefan and Sebastian and our agents at Inspiration Marine, Miles Andrew and Richie. We could not praise them all enough. They really care and will do anything to help.

So we will head down river to the wooden bridge for the last time, and spend tonight nestling among the reeds with the birds in Seedorf, and feeling very happy.
