Going dark

Our loyal followers will know that this is a time of great change in our lives. And we have taken the very sad decision to sell our beloved Melodrama.

There has been some interest, but yesterday a sailor we had been corresponding with withdrew his interest because he said he’d seen our blog and he’d worked out that we were chartering our boat!

(And we agree only an idiot would buy a charter boat, they are often very badly abused!)

Now, I think part of this is foreign language translation, but perhaps also because of the extensive descriptions and list of our destinations he couldn’t imagine anyone putting together such a lot of info online unless it was commercial. Haha. He hasn’t met either of us 😃😂

So for now, I have taken the site almost offline and will put it back up again when I’ve worked out how to present it differently.

He did give me a good idea though, to put the sale specification online.

And in the meantime, we have arrived in Augustenborg and we are going sailing for two fantastic last weeks!

(All we need now is a mast)
