Our plan was to arrive at the factory in Greifswald a few days before handover, to be on hand to answer any queries, and check that everything was as expected. This turned out to be a VERY good plan indeed.
We arrived late on Monday evening and set off to find our boat on Tuesday morning. Three hours later, with the help of the boat yard and several phone calls, we found the boat, incorrectly labelled with another hull number, just to make it all more fun.
As you can see there was still a lot to do.

By Thursday, the mast was ready to go up. Or more accurately, the mast was going up, ready or not! Somehow the specified spinnaker track and control lines, and active radar antennae were missing from the works order. All that would be sorted “later”.
I am writing this one week later, and these items are still work in progress, but we are getting there!!
